Fleishman-Hillard, one of the world’s leading communications agencies, is seeking an energetic video intern to shoot and edit digital videos in their New York office.  The full-time position offers hands-on experience in shooting and editing web and viral videos. It will also include editorial work for new business pitches and, possibly, full-up work. Working understanding of production (prep, on set, and post) is beneficial. Qualified candidates must have camera experience, be proficient in Final Cut Pro, and should have some understanding of working with and creating video graphics.

“I am producing a DVD and looking to hire a filmmaker to film one pick up segment. Length of the clip would be 2 minutes at the most. I’m trying to save some time and looking into outsourcing this assignment. So I thought I would post this ad and inquire if there are any filmmakers in Syracuse with a camera who would be interested in helping me. Please submit to me a resume and estimated quote for the job. Keep in mind, if costs are greater than it would take for me to fly from Florida to Syracuse to film it myself, I will most likely take that option.

Description of assignment: Meet with the talent at their residence to film opening introduction clip. Must be able to properly light the talent and approve that the hair and makeup is acceptable on my behalf. I imagine the assignment would take an hour and a half at most to setup and film. I’m predicting that a few takes will be needed before the best one is captured. No editing needed. I can receive the footage in whatever method is the easiest for you, but I guess burning it to a CD and mailing it is the easiest.

Payment: I will mail the check to the talent and you will receive the payment the day of the filming.”

BEARCAT PRODUCTIONS is currently shooting a feature length independent film,
‘The Essentials’, and will be in Syracuse next weekend. ‘The Essentials’ is
a Spy Comedy being produced out of Rochester; currently in production in
Central New York, Toronto, and Washington DC. Next Sunday, July 31st, we
need extras for two scenes being shot at Syracuse University. The shoot will
